I swear I am not just in this for the kilts.
The booth is a group booth with carver and pyrographer Don Dyer, whose work you can see here, and woodworker Phil Weaver, who soon will be press-ganged into a photo session by yours truly. There will also be a very limited edition series of collaborative works prepared by the three of us in various combinations.
For this event, I am creating a special series of pens and pendant beads made of celtic sacred woods with enamel accents. Also available will be original hand-colored prints of my own original knotwork designs, and stained glass with that swirly twisty colorful vibe. As I get more items prepared for the show, I will share more images of my work.
I haven't worked out the details yet, but I definitely will be offering preferential treatment to people who come by the booth in a kilt, with beer or food, or in other ways entertain me. More details will be posted here in the coming weeks about the event, the art, and the preferential treatment.
