Well. Not crap. Lofty, positive, yadda yadda.
My brain explodes when I get to the part about 'first, I should ...'
Start new projects? Finish old projects? Research new interests? Follow up on contacts? Insulate the studio so I don't freeze my ass out there? Finish last year's accounting / paperwork? Find shows to go to?
I think, in the interest of maintaining my sanity, I am going with finish old projects, clean up the workspace, and work on some of the venues for showing and selling work. That's only three things... If I spend too much time trying to figure out the exact right order of operations, I will get so wound around the axle that I will just collapse in a heap and never get anything done. Of course, it is currently too cold to cut glass, so any of the outstanding projects with that in view are going to have to wait a while. Maybe this would be a good time to work out designs, on paper, with details and cost of materials specced out and ... you know. Official-ness. A good time to do research. A good time to track down sources.
It's only the 2nd day of the year. I gotta remember to breathe. Just add that to the list, I suppose.
